The red & white gingham fabric can be substituted with the fabric of your choice. Imagine a cute pink gingham for a little girl, or even a blue for the boys. I just love pink/brown and blue/brown color schemes. Another option is to use brown & white gingham for the hat itself and a solid color for the ribbon area. Or we can do an initial on the hat without the name underneath.
